Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Carrots, diced
  • 1 cup Celery, diced
  • 1 cup Frozen peas
  • 1 medium Yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 can Cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 tube Refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.

Step 2

Add the diced carrots, celery, peas, onion, and minced garlic on top of the chicken.

Step 3

Pour the chicken broth and cream of chicken soup over the ingredients in the slow cooker.

Step 4

Sprinkle in the salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Stir gently to combine, leaving the chicken breasts intact.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6 hours or until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
