  • 12 oz Fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb Large shrimp (peeled and deveined)

  • 2 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese (grated, optional for serving)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter and the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until the butter is melted.

Step 3

Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.
