  • 500 grams beef sirloin
  • 6 stalks scallions
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Thinly slice the beef sirloin against the grain into bite-sized strips.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, and 2 tablespoons of water to create a marinade. Add the beef strips and let them marinate for 15 minutes.

While the beef marinates, wash and trim the scallions. Cut them into 2-inch-long pieces.

Mince the garlic cloves finely and set aside.

In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil to create the stir-fry sauce.

Heat a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and swirl to coat.
