Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 3 pieces Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
  • 1 cup Carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup Capsicum (bell peppers), sliced
  • 1 cup Broccoli florets
  • 1 cup Baby corn, sliced lengthwise
  • 200 grams Paneer (Indian cottage cheese), cubed
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 2 cups Cooked rice or noodles
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 pieces Cabbage leaves
  • 1 set Hot sizzler plate and wooden base

Directions

Step 1

Heat a large pan or wok over medium heat. Add vegetable oil, followed by minced garlic and ginger. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Step 2

Add carrots, capsicum, broccoli, and baby corn to the pan. Stir-fry the vegetables for 5-7 minutes until they are slightly tender but still crisp.

Step 3

Add the paneer cubes and stir gently to combine.

Step 4

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, tomato chili sauce, vinegar, salt, and black pepper powder. Pour this sauce mixture into the pan and toss the vegetables and paneer until evenly coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes and set aside.

Step 5

Preheat a sizzler plate on the stovetop for about 10 minutes, until it’s very hot.

Step 6

In a separate pan, add butter and lightly stir-fry the cooked rice or noodles for 2-3 minutes. Set aside.

Step 7

Line the sizzling hot plate with cabbage leaves to create a base. Spoon the stir-fried rice or noodles onto the cabbage leaves.

Step 8

Top the rice or noodles with the prepared vegetable and paneer mixture.

Step 9

Carefully place the hot plate onto the wooden base. Serve immediately with a sprinkle of additional black pepper if desired.
