Ingredients

  • 450 grams Fresh spinach
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 whole Garlic cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly under cold running water and shake off excess water. Set it aside.

Step 2

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves.

Step 3

Heat a large skillet or sauté pan over medium heat and add the olive oil.

Step 4

Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant but not browned.

Add the fresh spinach to the pan in batches, stirring gently to wilt it down. Continue adding spinach until all of it is in the pan.
