Ingredients

  • 15 oz Canned chickpeas (drained and rinsed)

  • 2 medium Garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • 0.5 tsp Ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp Paprika
  • 0.25 tsp Ground cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Red pepper flakes (for garnish, optional)
  • 1 tbsp Additional olive oil (for garnish, optional)

Directions

Step 1

Add the drained and rinsed chickpeas, tahini, garlic cloves, lemon juice, olive oil, and water to a food processor.

Step 2

Sprinkle in the ground cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt.

Step 3

Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the food processor as needed.
