Ingredients

  • 1 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha or chili paste (optional, for spice)
  • 4 tablespoons Warm water

Directions

Step 1

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey (or maple syrup), sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sriracha (if using).

Step 2

Whisk the ingredients together until they are well combined. The mixture will be thick at this stage.

Step 3

Gradually add 1 tablespoon of warm water at a time to the mixture, whisking thoroughly after each addition, until the sauce reaches your desired consistency. For a dipping sauce, keep it thicker; for drizzling or noodles, thin it out slightly more.

Step 4

Taste the sauce and adjust the flavor to your preference. Add more soy sauce for saltiness, honey or maple syrup for sweetness, or sriracha for more heat.

Step 5

Transfer the sauce to a small serving bowl or container. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
