Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (about 6 ounces each) salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Step 2

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 3

In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Step 4

Using a spoon or pastry brush, spread the mustard mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.

Step 5

Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

Step 6

Optional: Garnish the salmon with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Step 7

Serve the mustard salmon warm with your choice of sides, such as roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
