  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 packet chili seasoning mix
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.

Step 2

Add the chopped onion, garlic, and diced bell pepper to the skillet with the browned beef. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.

Transfer the cooked beef and vegetable mixture to your crock pot.
