Ingredients

  • 2 cups Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cups Unsalted butter
  • 0.67 cups Evaporated milk
  • 2 cups White chocolate chips
  • 1 jar (7 ounces) Marshmallow cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 handful Optional toppings (e.g., sprinkles, chopped nuts, or dried fruit)

Directions

Step 1

Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later. Lightly grease the parchment paper with butter or a non-stick cooking spray.

Step 2

In a medium, heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, unsalted butter, and evaporated milk.

Step 3

Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir continuously until the butter melts and the sugar dissolves completely.

Step 4

Once the mixture begins to simmer, clip a candy thermometer to the pan and let it boil gently, without stirring, until it reaches 234°F (112°C) (the soft-ball stage). This should take about 8–10 minutes. Be cautious not to overheat.

Step 5

Remove the pan from the heat and immediately stir in the white chocolate chips. Stir vigorously until the chocolate chips have fully melted and the mixture becomes smooth.

Step 6

Quickly fold in the marshmallow cream and vanilla extract. Keep stirring until everything is fully incorporated and the fudge is silky and glossy.

Step 7

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan, using a spatula to spread it evenly into the corners. If using optional toppings, sprinkle them evenly over the surface and gently press them down with the spatula.

Step 8

Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature for at least 3 hours, or ideally overnight, until fully set.

Step 9

Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang and transfer it to a cutting board. Slice the fudge into 1-inch squares for serving.

Step 10

Store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
