  • 200 grams grape or cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 10 units fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 50 grams grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 to taste salt
  • 1 to taste freshly cracked black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions, until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta cooking water, then drain the spaghetti.

Step 2

While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 3

Add the minced garlic and red chili flakes to the skillet, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
