  • 0.5 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 6 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 whole lemon (cut into wedges)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the diced onion, minced garlic, carrot, and celery. Sauté for 5 minutes or until the vegetables begin to soften.
