  • 12 oz Linguini
  • 1 lb Shrimp (peeled and deveined, tail-on or tail-off)

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 0.5 cup Dry white wine (or chicken broth)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Zest of lemon
  • 0.25 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (chopped)

  • to taste Black pepper (freshly ground)
  • to taste Parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguini according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel and season lightly with salt and black pepper.

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
