  • 4 cups Chicken or seafood stock

  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 medium Jalapeño (finely chopped)
  • 0.5 cup Fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 small Radishes (thinly sliced, for garnish)
  • 1 large Avocado (sliced, for garnish)
  • 1 cup Cabbage (shredded, for garnish)
  • 1 bag Tortilla chips (for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the diced onion, garlic, and jalapeño to the pot. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.

Stir in the tomatillos, ground cumin, and oregano. Cook for another 5 minutes until the tomatillos soften and start to break down.
