Ingredients

  • 16 cups Water
  • 3 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 5 whole Garlic cloves
  • 1.5 pounds Small red potatoes
  • 1 pound Smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 ears Corn on the cob, cut into thirds
  • 2 pounds Raw shrimp, deveined and shell on
  • 2 whole Lemon, quartered
  • 0.5 cup Butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

In a large stockpot, bring 16 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

Step 2

Stir in 3 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning, the garlic cloves, and the salt until dissolved.

Step 3

Add the red potatoes to the pot and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until they are just starting to soften.

Step 4

Lower the heat to medium and add the smoked sausage slices and cut corn. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.

Add the shrimp to the pot and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
