Ingredients

  • 200 grams Raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 150 grams Chicken breast, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 stalks Green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 24 pieces Wonton wrappers
  • 1 whole Egg, beaten
  • 500 milliliters Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds
  • 0 optional Sweet chili sauce (for dipping)

Directions

Step 1

In a food processor, blend the shrimp, chicken, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ground ginger into a coarse paste. Do not overblend; the mixture should still have some texture.

Step 2

Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place about 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center.

Step 3

Brush the edges of the wonton wrapper with the beaten egg, then fold it diagonally into a triangle, pressing gently to seal the edges. For extra security, fold the two bottom corners of the triangle toward the center and press lightly.

Repeat with the remaining wonton wrappers and filling.
