Ingredients

  • 500 grams shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 300 grams broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha or chili garlic sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 60 milliliters water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 stalks green onions, sliced (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, Sriracha, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, until pink and just cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, until they are bright green and slightly tender but still crisp.
