In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, and honey. In another small bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in the water and set aside.
Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until pink and fully cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
