  • 4 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Drain any excess fat, then stir in 2 cups of marinara sauce. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 3

In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce across the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
