Ingredients

  • 5 medium Russet potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped fresh parsley
  • 0.5 cup Cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into 1-inch cubes.

Step 3

Place the potato cubes in a large pot of salted water and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook until the potatoes are fork-tender, about 10-15 minutes.

Drain the potatoes and transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
