Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1.5 cups Ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cups Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 3 cups Marinara sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay them flat on a clean kitchen towel to prevent sticking.

Step 3

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat, if needed. Season with 1/2 teaspoon salt, garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Step 4

In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Mix well until smooth.

Step 5

To assemble, spread about 1/2 cup of marinara sauce evenly across the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 6

Take one cooked lasagna noodle and spread 2-3 tablespoons of the ricotta cheese mixture across its surface. Add a small amount of cooked ground beef (about 1-2 tablespoons) on top of the ricotta. Roll the noodle gently but tightly, starting from one end. Place the roll seam-side down in the prepared baking dish. Repeat with the remaining noodles and filling.

Step 7

Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the lasagna rolls, ensuring each roll is evenly coated.

Step 8

Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top of the rolls.

Step 9

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Step 10

Remove from the oven and let the lasagna rolls cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with additional parsley, if desired.
