  • 1.5 teaspoons Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Ground turmeric
  • 0.5 teaspoons Ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoons Ground allspice
  • 2 teaspoons Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 6 pieces Pita bread
  • 2 medium Tomatoes (sliced)
  • 1 medium Onion (sliced)
  • 100 grams Pickles (optional)
  • 150 milliliters Tahini sauce or garlic sauce
  • 1 medium Cucumber (sliced, optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, mix together yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, allspice, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.

Cut the chicken thighs into thin strips and add them to the marinade. Mix well to ensure the chicken is thoroughly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for best flavor.
