Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh spinach
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoons salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Rinse the fresh spinach thoroughly and roughly chop it.

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped garlic cloves for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 4

Add the spinach to the skillet and sauté for 4-5 minutes until wilted. Once done, transfer the spinach to a cutting board, let it cool, and then finely chop it.

Step 5

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and 3/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.

Step 6

Add the sautéed spinach, shredded mozzarella cheese, salt, and black pepper to the mixing bowl. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Step 7

Transfer the spinach dip mixture to a greased oven-safe baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese on top.

Step 8

Bake the dip in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Step 9

Remove the dish from the oven and allow it to cool slightly before serving.

Step 10

Serve warm with slices of baguette, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetables for dipping.
