Ingredients

  • 1 pound Pork tenderloin
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 Red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 1 Carrot, julienned
  • 2 Green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
  • 4 cups Cooked white or brown rice (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Thinly slice the pork tenderloin into small strips. In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, and the cornstarch. Add the pork slices to the marinade and set aside for at least 10 minutes.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine the remaining soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well and set aside to use as the stir fry sauce.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated pork slices and cook until browned and just cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.

Step 4

In the same skillet, heat the remaining vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring constantly for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Step 5

Add the sliced red bell pepper, broccoli florets, and julienned carrot to the skillet. Stir fry the vegetables for 3-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

Step 6

Return the cooked pork to the skillet. Pour in the reserved stir fry sauce and toss everything together to coat evenly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce is heated through and slightly thickened.

Step 7

Remove the stir fry from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

Step 8

Serve immediately over cooked white or brown rice, if desired.
