Ingredients

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 250 grams fusilli pasta
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 pieces garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 large carrot, julienned
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 4 pieces scallions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 4 cups cooked water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Bring 4 cups of salted water to a boil in a large pot. Add the fusilli pasta and cook until al dente, according to package instructions (approximately 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside to cool.

Step 2

While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
