Ingredients

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1.5 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 pieces garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 pieces scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

Trim the tough ends off the asparagus and cut the stalks into 2-inch pieces. Set aside.

Step 3

Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and season them with salt and black pepper.

Step 4

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Set the sauce aside.

Step 5

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
