Ingredients

  • 750 ml Red wine (preferably a medium-bodied Spanish variety like Tempranillo)
  • 250 ml Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 60 ml Brandy
  • 30 ml Simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 250 ml Soda water or sparkling water
  • 1 piece Orange (thinly sliced)
  • 1 piece Lemon (thinly sliced)
  • 1 piece Apple (cored and diced)
  • 1 piece Peach (pitted and diced)
  • 1 piece Cinnamon stick
  • 500 grams Ice cubes

Directions

Step 1

In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, freshly squeezed orange juice, brandy, and simple syrup.

Step 2

Stir the mixture well to ensure the ingredients are fully blended.

Step 3

Add the sliced orange, sliced lemon, diced apple, diced peach, and the cinnamon stick to the pitcher. Stir gently to mix the fruits and cinnamon into the liquid.

Step 4

Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld together. The longer it chills, the more vibrant the flavor will be.

Step 5

Just before serving, add soda water or sparkling water to the pitcher and stir gently to avoid losing too much carbonation.

Step 6

Fill serving glasses halfway with ice cubes and pour the chilled sangria over the ice, including some of the fruit pieces in each glass for presentation.

Step 7

Optional: Garnish each glass with a slice of orange or lemon on the rim for an extra touch of elegance.

Step 8

Serve immediately and enjoy!
