  • 500 grams Ground lamb or beef
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Green chili, finely chopped
  • 0.5 cup Fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup Mint leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds, roasted and ground
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb or beef with the finely chopped onion, green chili, coriander, and mint leaves.

Step 2

Add ginger garlic paste, roasted cumin seeds, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt to the meat mixture. Knead well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Add the lemon juice to the mixture and knead again to ensure the juice is evenly distributed. This helps tenderize the meat.

Cover the mixture and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to an hour to allow the flavors to meld.
