Ingredients

  • 2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 14-ounce can Sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Sea salt flakes
  • 1 as needed Non-stick cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

Prepare an 8x8-inch square pan by lightly greasing it with non-stick cooking spray. Line the pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides for easy removal later.

Step 2

In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter.

Step 3

Place the saucepan over low heat and stir constantly using a rubber spatula or wooden spoon until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Be careful not to overheat, as this can cause the chocolate to seize.

Step 4

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.

Step 5

Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly using a spatula.

Step 6

Sprinkle the sea salt flakes evenly over the top of the fudge.

Step 7

Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until it is firm and set.

Step 8

Once the fudge is completely set, lift it out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Place it on a cutting board and slice into 16 squares or your desired serving size.

Step 9

Store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
