Ingredients

  • 225 grams halloumi cheese
  • 1 whole lemon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Slice the halloumi cheese into 1/2-inch thick slabs.

Step 2

Juice half of the lemon and slice the other half into thin rounds; set both aside.

Step 3

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Step 4

Place the halloumi slices in the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on a serving plate.

Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet.
