Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 pieces Sea scallops
  • 200 grams Lump crab meat
  • 4 cups Mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup Cucumber, diced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Vodka
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons Orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 small Habanero pepper, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp and set aside to cool.

Step 2

In the same pot, add the scallops and simmer for 3-4 minutes, or until firm and opaque. Remove and allow to cool. Cut scallops into halves if large.

Step 3

In a small skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute, making sure not to burn it. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Step 4

In a small bowl, whisk together the vodka, lime juice, orange juice, minced habanero, honey, salt, black pepper, 1 tablespoon olive oil, and the sautéed garlic to create the dressing. Mix well and set aside.

Step 5

In a large mixing bowl, combine the salad greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, crab meat, cooked shrimp, and scallops.

Step 6

Drizzle the vodka habanero dressing over the seafood salad. Toss gently to coat all ingredients evenly.

Step 7

Divide the salad mixture evenly among four martini glasses or presentation bowls.

Step 8
