Ingredients

  • 500 grams Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 300 grams Scallops
  • 200 grams Squid, cleaned and sliced into rings
  • 500 grams Clams, scrubbed and rinsed
  • 300 grams White fish fillets (such as cod or snapper), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 units Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 unit Lemon, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 units Lime wedges, for serving

Directions

Step 1

Prepare the marinade by whisking together olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, ground cumin, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice in a large bowl.

Step 2

Add the shrimp, scallops, squid, white fish, and clams to the bowl with the marinade. Toss gently to coat all the seafood evenly. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 20 minutes to allow the seafood to absorb the flavors.

Step 3

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.

Step 4

Place the marinated seafood on the grill. For shrimp, scallops, squid, and fish, grill for about 2 to 3 minutes per side until they are cooked through and have grill marks. For clams, place them directly on the grill, and cook until they open (discard any that do not open).

Step 5

Transfer the grilled seafood to a large serving platter. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for garnish.

Step 6

Serve the Seafood Parrillada immediately with lime wedges on the side for an added citrusy kick.
