Ingredients

  • 300 grams large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 250 grams scallops
  • 500 grams fresh mussels, cleaned and debearded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 120 milliliters dry white wine
  • 200 milliliters heavy cream
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, finely chopped
  • 50 grams parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
  • 5 leaves fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Directions

Step 1

Rinse and pat dry the shrimp, scallops, and mussels. Set aside.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 3

Add the shrimp and scallops to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Step 4

In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and butter. Sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 5

Deglaze the skillet with white wine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced.

Lower the heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream. Stir to combine and let the mixture simmer gently for 5 minutes.
