  • 1 lb Ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 0.5 lb Ground pork
  • 0.75 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.5 cup Grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup Onion, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and milk. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to allow the breadcrumbs to absorb the milk.

Add the ground beef, ground pork, egg, grated parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, diced onion, salt, and black pepper to the breadcrumb mixture.

Mix everything together with your hands until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the meatballs tough.

Using a tablespoon or small scoop, form the mixture into evenly sized meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a plate or tray.
