Ingredients

  • 4 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Chives (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Crack the eggs into a medium mixing bowl. Add the milk, salt, and black pepper.

Step 2

Whisk the mixture thoroughly until the yolks and whites are completely combined, and the mixture looks slightly frothy.

Step 3

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Add the butter and let it melt, evenly coating the bottom of the pan.

Step 4

Pour the egg mixture into the skillet. Allow it to sit undisturbed for about 30 seconds to begin setting.

Step 5

Using a silicone spatula, gently push the eggs from the edges of the skillet toward the center, creating large, soft curds. Continue doing this slowly and gently across the entire pan.

Step 6

Cook for 2-4 minutes, or until the eggs are just set but still slightly runny. Remember, the eggs will continue cooking slightly after being removed from the pan.

Step 7

Remove the skillet from heat and serve the scrambled eggs immediately. If desired, garnish with freshly chopped chives.
