Directions

Step 1

Preheat a dry skillet over medium heat and toast the rolled oats for 3-5 minutes until golden and fragrant, stirring frequently to ensure even toasting. Set aside to cool.

In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Be careful not to over-whip the cream; it should be light and airy.
