  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 cup water

Directions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, combine the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, molasses, and honey. Whisk together over medium heat until smooth.

Step 2

Add the Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground mustard, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt. Stir well to combine.

Step 3

Pour in the water to adjust the consistency to your liking. Stir thoroughly.

Step 4

Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently to prevent sticking or burning.

Step 5

Remove from heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature. It will continue to thicken as it cools.
