Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Chicken breast, boneless and skinless
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 medium Carrot, julienned
  • 1 small Cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 stalks Green onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro, chopped
  • 4 pieces Large flour tortillas
  • 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha
  • 4 pieces Lettuce leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds, toasted

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and honey to create the marinade.

Step 2

Place chicken breasts in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Let the chicken marinate for at least 15 minutes or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

Step 3

Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Once cooked, remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin strips.

Step 4

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and sriracha to create the spicy mayo. Set aside.

Step 5

Prepare the vegetables by julienning the red bell pepper and carrot, thinly slicing the cucumber, and chopping the green onions and cilantro.

Step 6

Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side or microwave them for 15 seconds to make them pliable.

Step 7

Lay a tortilla flat and spread 1 tablespoon of the spicy mayo across the center. Place 1 lettuce leaf on top of the mayo, followed by a portion of sliced chicken, julienned vegetables, green onions, cilantro, and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.

Step 8

Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, then roll it tightly from the bottom to form a wrap. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and fillings.

Step 9

Cut each wrap in half, if desired, and serve immediately.
