  • 150 grams Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon Almond extract
  • 240 grams All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 60 grams Pearl sugar

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes using a hand or stand mixer on medium speed.

Add the egg yolks, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the butter mixture, and mix until fully combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
