Ingredients

  • 250 grams Pork sausage (or sausage meat)
  • 1 sheet Puff pastry (ready-rolled)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 30 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine the sausage meat, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

Step 3

Unroll the puff pastry sheet on a clean surface and cut it in half lengthwise to create two long strips.

Divide the sausage mixture into two equal portions. Roll each portion into a long, even log slightly shorter than the length of each puff pastry strip.

Place each sausage log along the long edge of a puff pastry strip, leaving a small border.

Brush some beaten egg along the opposite edge of the puff pastry to help seal it.

Carefully roll the pastry around the sausage filling, starting from the edge closest to the filling and rolling towards the egg-washed edge to seal the roll.
