Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry sheet
  • 100 g cheddar cheese
  • 50 g parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Grate the cheddar and parmesan cheeses into a medium bowl.

Step 3

Finely chop the fresh parsley and add it to the cheese mixture.

Step 4

Add paprika, black pepper, and a pinch of salt to the cheese mixture, then stir to combine evenly.

Step 5

Unroll the puff pastry sheet onto a clean surface. Spread the dijon mustard evenly across the surface of the pastry.

Step 6

Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly over the mustard-covered pastry, ensuring a thin, even layer.

Roll the pastry tightly from one of the longer sides to form a log. Trim the edges if necessary, then use a sharp knife to slice the log into 12 equal pieces.
