  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cups water or chicken broth

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and position the oven rack in the center.

Place the spiral cut ham cut-side down in a large roasting pan. Add 1 cup of water or chicken broth to the bottom of the pan to keep the ham moist during cooking.

Cover the ham tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes (about 10 minutes per pound).
