Ingredients

  • 12 oz Canned Spam
  • 4 oz Cream cheese
  • 0.5 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can Crescent roll dough
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Water

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Dice the Spam into small cubes and set aside.

Step 3

In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Step 4

Gently fold in the diced Spam and chopped parsley (if using) to the cheese mixture.

Step 5

Open the crescent roll dough can and separate the dough into 8 triangles as indicated on the packaging.

Step 6

Place a heaping tablespoon of the Spam and cheese mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.

Step 7

Carefully roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end and tucking the filling inside as you go, forming a crescent shape.

Step 8

Place the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Step 9

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to make an egg wash.

Step 10

Brush the surface of each crescent with the egg wash to give them a golden finish when baked.

Step 11

Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the crescents are puffed and golden brown.

Step 12

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
