Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground pork
  • 50 grams Breadcrumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 3 stalks Green onions
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 0.5 teaspoons Ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Finely chop the green onions and garlic. Set them aside.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, chopped garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ground black pepper, and salt.

Step 3

Crack the egg into the mixing bowl and mix everything thoroughly with clean hands until well combined.

Step 4

Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball, and place them onto a plate. This should yield approximately 16 pork balls.

Step 5

Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan or skillet over medium heat.

Step 6

Once the oil is hot, carefully add the pork balls to the pan. Cook them in batches if the pan is not large enough to hold them all at once.

Step 7

Cook the pork balls for approximately 7-8 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Turn them carefully during cooking to ensure even browning.

Step 8

Once cooked, transfer the pork balls to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Step 9

Serve the pork balls hot as an appetizer, or pair them with rice or noodles for a main dish.
