  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil

Directions

Step 1

Rinse the lentils thoroughly under cold running water.

In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed lentils and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until lentils are tender and water is absorbed.
