Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (6 oz each) fish fillets (such as cod, tilapia, or haddock)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pieces garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 0.25 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.25 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil.

Step 2

Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil. Rub to coat evenly.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, parsley, parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, panko breadcrumbs, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Step 4

Divide the cheese mixture evenly among the fish fillets, pressing it gently onto the top of each fillet to form a crust.

Step 5

Bake the fillets in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork, and the cheese topping is golden brown.

Step 6

Remove from the oven and let the fish rest for 2–3 minutes before serving.

Step 7

Serve warm with your favorite side dishes such as steamed vegetables, rice, or a crisp salad.
