Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Step 2

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.

Step 3

Once the oil is hot, place the pork chops in the skillet in a single layer. Cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes, allowing them to develop a golden-brown crust.

Step 4

Flip the pork chops and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until they are nearly cooked through (the internal temperature should reach 145°F or 63°C).

Step 5

Reduce the heat to medium, push the pork chops to one side of the skillet, and add the butter to the skillet.

Step 6

Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, stirring frequently to avoid burning.

Step 7

Spoon the garlic butter over the pork chops to coat them evenly. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, ensuring the pork is fully cooked and the flavors are well blended.

Step 8

Remove the skillet from heat and let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes off the heat.

Step 9

Garnish with chopped parsley (if using) and serve warm with your preferred side dishes.
