Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet or sauté pan, cook the ground pork sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes. Break it up into small crumbles with a wooden spoon as it cooks.

Using a slotted spoon, transfer the cooked sausage to a plate lined with paper towels. Leave about 2 tablespoons of the rendered fat in the skillet and discard the rest.
