Ingredients

  • 4 links Italian sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium Green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium Yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 0.5 cup Black olives, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 pieces Crusty sandwich rolls
  • 4 slices Provolone cheese slices (optional)

Directions

Step 1

1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

2. Add the sausage links to the skillet and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through. Remove the sausages from the skillet and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
