  • 14 ounces smoked sausage

  • 3 cups cooked brown rice
  • 0.5 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Slice the smoked sausage into 1/4-inch rounds and add to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned. Remove the sausage to a plate and set aside.
